DoT's new portal Tarang Sanchar Lets You Check Radiation Levels emitting from mobile towers around you

Taranag Sanchar is a web portal launched by Department of Telecom's Web Portal for mobile tower compliance today. This portal was under development from quite some time and finally it is launched and available for public service.

How it is helpful to general public?

Tarang Sanchar Web Portal will help you in knowing how much a mobile tower in a particular location is emitting radiation and whether it is under prescribed safety norms. For this you need to visit Tarang Sanchar website and fill in details such as name, email address, mobile once verified you will be able to know tower details with EMF Safety Status.

It can also tell the level of radiation in different areas inside your house and further can also tell you level network signal strength inside your house that can help you to decide to go for particular network provider with ample signal around your house. But this service BTS test comes at cost of Rs.4,000/- charges for procedure of testing to know the EMF compliance level. This amount what you pay will be used to pay for manpower & technical equipment's used.
