Bangalore the IT hub of India and is worlds top software exporting city is chosen by Apple to start manufacturing iPhone's in India. As per the press report released by Karnataka Government it is clear that Apple will soon start is manufacturing unit in India from june 2017 onwards. Recently in the month of December 2016 Apple listed several job openings including an iPhone operations program manager.
Apple started looking at India as it's third iPhone manufacturing unit as it thinks India is the next major country with increasing per capita income, fast 4G VoLte network available across the country. Therefore it no fact that it is taking the advantage of Make In India project with some good incentives from central & state government to leverage its operations.
Apple in India has seen 150% year over year growth rate which is really incredible as Apple sells it's products at premium prices in India and they are costly in compared to USA pricing. The demand for Apple products also increased in India as there is good number of working class youth who they are found off & obsessed with Apple's offering's in India. Recently Apple also recognized the demand and started selling it's new launches quickly in India.It also have units in China & Taiwan.
