ISRO is the name resounding a lot in the space business arena from its successful space program launches operating from India. In a massive development we are going to witness ISRO to launch its tried and successful PSLV series rocket C37 for carrying and placing record number of 104 satellites that includes India's own Cartosat 2 Series satellite weighing about 714 kg along with 103 satellites weighing about 664 kg at the time of lift off into polar sun synchronous orbit, which about 520 km distance from earth. From the 103 foreign satellites, out of which 96 Dove satellites belongs to USA, 5 from ISRAEL, NETHERLANDS, KAZAKHSTAN, UNITED ARAB EMRITES & SWITZERLAND respectively.
coming to the ISRO own Cartosat- 2 series that is primary satellite of this launch belongs to the earlier four satellites in cartosat -2 series that are used for remote sensing services like monitoring road network, water conservative program, mapping of land bank, imaging vide area and the likes. The other two satellites of ISRO includes nano satellites INS-1A and INS-1B and the objective of these satellites is to provide ISRO an opportunity to demonstrate its payloads technology that will in-turn become a standard bus for launching on demand launch services.
ISRO if get successful with this PSLV-C37 mission it will break the record of Russian Space Agency that launched 37 satellites at a go. It also helps ISRO to recover half the cost of the launch from this mission alone. As PSLV launch cost a fraction when compared to the other launches such Falcon 9 by Space X that uses reusable launch vehicle, HII-A from jaxa, the Long March by CSNA, the Proton rocket from Ukarine.
