How To Use BHIM App

BHIM- Stands For Bharat Interface for Money. It is made in Inda app from National Payment Corporation (NPCI) works under Finance Ministry of Central Government. This app is designed after demonetisation where Indian government want its citizens to go for cashless transaction.

Advantages of using BHIM app.

Main Advantage is to do cashless transaction,
Faster & Easier in comparison to IMPS, NEFT & RTGS payment modes,
No need to remember or add payee details such as payee name, bank account number, ifsc code, mmid number etc,
Can transfer from Rs.1 to 10,000 per transaction & maximum Rs.20,000/- per day as of now.
App can be used in Hindi Language apart from English more languages coming soon,

What are Minimum Requirements Required to use this BHIM app
Android Smartphone with minimum 1GB RAM,
Inernet Connection, BHIM app installed on your smartphone
Mobile Sim that you registered with your bank account,
Mobile Balance is required,
ATM card number is required.

How To Install BHIM app

First Download the app from google play store,
After installing app, start the app,
It will ask to select language either English of Hindi,
It will ask to select your Mobile Sim Operator if Dual sim is present,
It will then auto verify your number by sending an sms,
Then you need to create 4digits app password,
Once it is successfull, then it will ask to select your Bank name,
It will try to retreive you bank account number that you linked to your mobile number,
If found you will see your bank account number and bank name,
Then you need to create upi pin number which is six digit of your choice,
For this you need to authenticate by entering last six digits of your atm card & enter atm pin here,
Then you need to create your six digit upi pin of your choice
once successfull you will get your vpa means Virtual Payment Address,
vpa is nothing but your phonenumber with @vpa, you can also change vpa name of your choice,
so you now are ready to accept as well as pay to other vpa,

How to send money?

Enter your 4 digits app password,
Select send money button,
Enter vpa number of the other person to whom you intended to send or pay money & click verify,
App will auto verify vpa and it will display his vpa address,
next you need to enter denomination, optional reference number if you require & click next,
here you need to enter your six digit upi password,
If all goes well you will see the message upi payment is successful.
